{"id":14661,"date":"2019-06-28T13:54:30","date_gmt":"2019-06-28T08:24:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/courseplay.ai\/about\/accounting-executive\/"},"modified":"2025-05-05T20:19:02","modified_gmt":"2025-05-05T14:49:02","slug":"accounting-executive","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/invictuswebsolutions.com\/courseplay\/careers\/accounting-executive\/","title":{"rendered":"Accounting Executive"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"l-section wpb_row height_large\"><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div class=\"g-cols vc_row via_grid cols_2-1 laptops-cols_inherit tablets-cols_inherit mobiles-cols_1 valign_top type_default stacking_default\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<h3>Job Description<\/h3>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented accountant to join our growing organization to handle all accounting operations within the company and ensure the integrity of accounting information.<\/p>\n<h3>Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain account balances and ledgers<\/li>\n<li>Generate financial statements and all reports<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with vendors and clients for payments<\/li>\n<li>Maintain, pay and file returns for GST, TDS, Income Tax, PT, PF, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and clear payroll for the company<\/li>\n<li>Reconciling account balances and bank statements,\u00a0GSTR-9 and TDS (Form 26AS)<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining general ledger accountability<\/li>\n<li>Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with GAAP principles for financial statements<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS and cashflow reports<\/li>\n<li>Update projections and budgets annually<\/li>\n<li>Record asset, liability, revenue and expenses entries by compiling, collecting, gathering tracking, presenting, analyzing and summarizing account information<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies<\/li>\n<li>Summarize financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements<\/li>\n<li>Produce payroll by initiating computer processing; printing checks, verifying finished product<\/li>\n<li>Make recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets and expenditures<\/li>\n<li>Keep abreast with financial laws, rules and regulations and internal policies<\/li>\n<li>Prepare financial reports for taxes, regulatory agencies, and shareholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Skills<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 1 year of working knowledge of TDS and GST<\/li>\n<li>In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, Zoho Books<\/li>\n<li>Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables<\/li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state\/national regulations<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and writing capabilities<\/li>\n<li><strong>Required Skills:<\/strong> MS Excel<\/li>\n<li>Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 4 years of proven experience in an accounting role<\/li>\n<li>At least 1-year experience with GST and TDS<\/li>\n<li>Must have a degree in Accounting, Finance business, or related field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Industry<\/h3>\n<p>E-Learning, Management Consulting, and Information Technology and Services<\/p>\n<h3>Employment Type<\/h3>\n<p>Full-time<\/p>\n<h3>Experience<\/h3>\n<p>Associate (4 years)<\/p>\n<h3>Job Function<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Accounting\/Auditing<\/li>\n<li>Finance<\/li>\n<li>Administration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"w-btn-wrapper align_none\"><a class=\"w-btn us-btn-style_6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"Apply Now\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSc0J_djT7Je7_iRHVbYMSgQISvocG7glKSVJjLL7JR3BBiMiQ\/viewform\"><span class=\"w-btn-label\">APPLY NOW<\/span><\/a><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Job Description We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented accountant to join our growing organization to handle all accounting operations within the company and ensure the integrity of accounting information.
